  • Eligibility :  
    (i) To be considered for admission, students typically need an 80% average or 26 predicted/anticipated IB Diploma points. The admission average is calculated based on the five required courses for the chosen program. Both domestic and international students are welcome to apply, with equal eligibility for admission;
    (ii) Entrance awards are offered to students who are entering Dalhousie program.

    (i) Offered annually to undergraduate international students entering first year in any undergraduate degree in the upcoming fall term who have satisfied the university’s English Language Proficiency requirement. Renewable in the second, third and fourth year at the University of Calgary, provided recipients achieve a GPA of 2.60 or more over a minimum of 24.00 units in the previous fall and winter terms and continue to pay an international differential tuition fee as an international student;
    (ii) International students who are required to pay international tuition fees and who are not Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents of Canada;

    (ii) Not have held or be currently holding a CGS M scholarship from NSERC, CIHR or SSHRC;
    (iii) Have achieved a first-class average, as determined by the host institution, in each of the last two completed years of study (full-time equivalent);
    (iv) You may be required to submit course outlines so Admissions can determine if a prerequisite meets the rigorous academic standard required for admissibility
    (v) Be enrolled in, have applied for or will apply for full-time admission to an eligible graduate program at the master’s or doctoral level that can be started within the eligible dates of the competition year at a Canadian institution with a CGS M allocation;
