SSC GD 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for SSC GD 2025, as set by the Staff Selection Commission, must be met by all candidates to apply for the exam. The criteria include:

Nationality

  • Candidates must be citizens of India.
  • Vacancies in CAPFs and Assam Rifles (AR) are state/UT-based. Candidates must provide a Domicile Certificate or Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) for their respective state or UT during the application process.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 23 years
  • Candidates should be born between 02-01-2002 and 01-01-2007.

Detailed Guide

Candidates must have completed their 10th board examination from a recognized board or university to be eligible for SSC GD 2025. Those failing to meet the criteria will be disqualified from the recruitment process.

The SSC GD Selection Process consists of four rigorous stages:

Written Examination (Computer-Based)

  • Format: 80 multiple-choice questions (2 marks each).
  • Subjects: General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, English/Hindi.
  • Duration: 60 minutes.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

  • Male Candidates:
    • 5 km in 24 minutes (General); 1.6 km in 6.5 minutes (Ladakh region).
  • Female Candidates:
    • 1.6 km in 8.5 minutes (General); 800 meters in 4 minutes (Ladakh region).
